Our products are tableware pieces: we want you to be pleased with them. If that is not the case, you have a right of withdrawal, and we will guide you through the process.
Withdrawal period
You have fourteen (14) days from receipt of your order to tell us that you wish to return one or more items, without having to give a reason. We refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs; any extra cost resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method than our standard one remains at your charge.
How to return an item
- Write to us at boutique@cotedco.com with your order number and the items concerned.
- We send you a return authorisation and the shipping address.
- Send the product back in its original condition and packaging (labels intact), with a copy of the invoice, within 14 days of your request.
The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the return, using the same payment method as your order. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, except in the case of our error or a non-conforming product.
Item received damaged
Refuse the parcel from the carrier, or report the damage within 48 hours by writing to us with photographs. We arrange a replacement or a refund, with return costs at our charge.
Guarantees
Our products carry the manufacturer's guarantee and the legal guarantee of conformity: two years from delivery of the goods (twelve months for second-hand goods). A lack of conformity appearing within twenty-four months is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. You may choose between repair and replacement; failing that, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract.
Items not taken back
Under article L. 221-28 of the French consumer code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, nor to sealed goods unsealed after delivery which cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Gift cards are not taken back.
